As an intellectual property owner and licensor, your S&SME can expand its business to the frontiers of your partners’ business. As a licensee, your S&SME can legally manufacture, sell, import, export, distribute and market various goods or services, which it may be prevented from doing without a license agreement.
A formal licensing agreement is possible only if the IPRs you wish to license are also protected in Curaçao or other countries of interest to you. If your IPRs are not protected in Curaçao or the countries of your interest, it is advisable to protect them before closing any license agreement.
