Legal protection of Intellectual Property rights

The Bureau for Intellectual Property as the official authority in Curaçao for legal protection of Intellectual Property rights recognizes the i-Envelope for the duration of 5 years paying ANG. 200 and ANG. 250 for 10 years.

For idea protection (proof date of creation) use the i-Envelope

For patent protection application: go to the website of Octrooicentrum Nederland. This entry is required because patents are granted to the patentee by the Dutch Kingdom.

Patent rights to exploit the invention requires patent registration

To obtain copyright proof, proof that the work belongs to creator claiming authenticity; creators are required to present proof of date of creation of the work. This can be done via the i-Envelope
