In Curaçao patent protection is regulated according to the Kingdom Patent law 1995. This law warrants patent protection simultaneously in Curacao, St. Maarten, the Netherlands and the BES Islands (Bonaire, Saba, St. Eustatius). For obtaining a patent, the applicants fill out an application form and submit 3 copies of the application form together with the other requirements at the Bureau for Intellectual Property of Curaçao.
